As both a Division II softball player on a full athletic scholarship and the sports graphic designer for New Mexico Highlands University Athletics, I combined my passion for athletics and design into one role. I created pregame and gameday graphics, score updates, and promotional content that highlighted players and built excitement for upcoming matchups.

 

Alongside digital design work, I photographed athletes in action and produced edits that captured the energy of the games for use across the university’s social media platforms. This project gave me hands-on experience designing in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where quick turnarounds were essential, while also allowing me to shape the visual identity of NMHU Athletics.
